Kathryn Stagg
(MAP)
Kathryn Stagg is became interested in supporting mothers to breastfeed after the birth of her twins in 2005. She was offered the opportunity to train as a per supporter and went on to volunteer locally in Harrow for 11 years and headed up a multiple birth breastfeeding project. Kathryn continued her studies training first as a breastfeeding counsellor with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers, and then taking the IBCLC exam. She now offers breastfeeding support on the National Breastfeeding Helpline, online in her Facebook group Breastfeeding Twins and Triplets UK, which has just been granted charitable status, and in a private practice in Harrow. Kathryn is passionate about empowering mothers to breastfeed their babies, especially those expecting 2 or 3, or those whose babies are born early, and supporting them throughout their breastfeeding journey. She balances this with raising her 4 boys.
