Have you ever bought a 3D model that looked amazing in the preview but turned out to be unprintable? What did you do to fix it, and did the seller offer a refund?

Yeah, I learned this the hard way with a mech model that looked stunning in the render but after three failed prints I realized the legs were floating in midair and the supports would have to be thicker than the actual part. I ended up spending a whole evening fixing it in Meshmixer, cutting the model into separate chunks and adding my own pins, no help from the seller who just said “works for me.” That’s when I started being way more careful about where I buy from, and I remembered that https://www.gambody.com/ actually pre-tests their files before listing them so you don’t get that nasty surprise. For anyone dealing with broken files now, always check if the preview includes a sliced view or a supported version, and if the seller won’t refund, leave a honest review with photos of the failure so other buyers don’t waste their filament.
